Advanced Open Water

Once you’ve caught the diving “bug”, there is no going back. Just keep expanding your skills and knowledge!

ADVANCED CERTIFICATION
The SDI Advanced Adventurer, or the PADI Advanced Open Water course, prepares you for diving deeper, but mainly builds on the skills you’ve learned in the Open Water Course. It is a course that can be followed directly after you finish Open Water, in case you want to keep the momentum of learning, or after you have gained a little bit more confidence and experience from a number of dives under your belt.

COURSE SCHEDULE
The course consists of 5 dives. One of these dives is a dive to a depth of at least 18 meters/60 feet, with a maximum depth of 30 meters/100 feet. The other mandatory dive is one where you practice your underwater navigational skills. You and your instructor decide together what you are going to cover in the other three dives. You could end up perfecting your buoyancy, exploring wrecks, playing with an underwater camera or experiencing a drift dive. Your instructor will tell you what your options are.
